Ready for a HIPAA Security Audit?

HIPAA has recently begun to conduct security audits to ensure compliance. Some of the issues they cover that I will address include anti-virus software, computer patch management (windows updates), and network monitoring.  While these seem like issues anyone should be able to handle with a standard security suite such as Norton Internet Security, I can’t tell you how many machines I've encountered with up-to-date anti-virus software and 150+ infected files, sending sensitive data out to the internet (firewalls are designed to prevent incoming traffic and will* typically allow this). I will assist you in making sure this area of your business is managed properly for compliance.
